Yup. I got pretty crazy last night…pretty pretty pretty (said like Larry David) wild.
Added some booze to boxed cake mix…
…plus a drizzle of glaze made out of 1 cup powdered sugar + 4 tablespoons Almond Milk…
…all for our “Wild” book club!
The setting couldn’t have been more perfect…
…but you couldn’t see anything!
There was a lot of amazing food, as usual, though – from a trail mix bar…
…pastries from Porto’s, flatbreads from Trader Joe’s, cheese/veggie/hummus platters, pasta and lentil salad…
…Mia whipped up my s’mores brownies too!
I had four packed plates…
…then settled in with one last handful of trail mix…
…before gathering around for some major girl talk.
Speaking of book club, “Nice Girls Crew” is coming to Comcast!!! For the entire month of October, it will playing on the “Cinema Asian America” channel, for free. Soon after that, the series will be available online for all!

Every time I see fresh figs on your plates, I get super jealous – my favourite fruit on the planet by far. I took your frozen fruit idea and already put two boxes in the freezer to “save”…which means I maybe eat them a little more slowly because they’re cold
