Whenever someone visits Los Angeles, everyone tells them to go to the La Brea Tar Pits…

….I’d say another must-stop for tourists is CoolHaus…

…today, you could do both!

To celebrate their new Ice Age Encounters show, The Page Museum commissioned ice cream sandwiches from my favorite dessert truck!

Yes, free! Of course, the line was long…

…but I had good company – Rachelle and Melanie!

We even got to customize our creations…

…I chose Sea Salt Caramel Ice Cream…

…smooched between Vegan Carrot Cake and Snickerdoodle.

Traded bites with Rachelle, who got Red Velvet Ice Cream.

We enjoyed our sweets…

…and got some history in too.

sounds delicious!!!
The sea salt and caramel is my favorite of their ice cream flavors for sure. Not even the retched smell of the tar pits could quell my appetite for Coolhaus.

Ahh that sounds so fun! And the Cool Haus sounds like a fantastic food truck!
it’s my favorite ice cream truck in the world!
