These flowers from CAAM took my breath away…

…Julius’ too! He was prancing around on the coffee table for the first 5 minutes, sniffing them.

I trusted them to be alone, since I had dinner plans out…

…Victor’s is an old skool restaurant in Hollywood that I’ve always wondered about when we go see shows at UCB.

Brad, Mayuka and I settled into a cozy booth…

…their ginormous menu is focused around Jewish deli classics.

I got a large Chicken Matzoh Ball soup…

…which came with 3 homemade bagel chips.

I wound up eating 2, along with a piece of the really good (complimentary!) bread.

There was a lot of ball going on that bowl – this was just 1/4 of it! Loved how chunky and filling the soup was.

Also tried a bite of Brad’s meatloaf and mashed potatoes…

…and the big winner – Mayuka’s Pastrami sandwich on rye…

…with Swiss, Sauerkraut, and Russian Dressing.

Everything was solid, including the potato salad!

Back home, I hung out with my flowers and my boys. The TV was on, but I couldn’t see it!

Speaking of my CAAM family, Nice Girls Crew is coming to Pal Alto:
