Melon season is in full bloom! I bought 3 cantaloupes for $5 at the Farmer’s Market yesterday, so there’s going to be a lot of this…

…especially after this past weekend’s eats. (I write more about why I purposefully don’t blog more about how I’m physically feeling over at Thick Dumpling Skin.)

Breakfast was enjoyed after a little photo shoot with Julius…

…then I got started on some errands. Can someone please explain to me how this cherry stem wound up in the laundry? (Ahem, Abe???)

While folding, I randomly flipped onto the Soap Channel and there was yesterday’s party hostess, Josie!

I haven’t rewatched 90210 since we became friends, or even since I moved to Los Angeles…it looks like the series is about to restart itself in a few days, so I’m excited to make that a new ritual again.

One of my interns, Caitlin, recently had a giveaway on her blog for these bars…

…I wrote to see if they carried any in stores (right now they’re only in a few Westside Los Angeles dance studios) so they sent me a couple to sample.

I probably should’ve eaten the cherry flavor, but instead I tried the Spirulina which doesn’t taste “green” at all (a very good thing).

These bars are available online, but if you want to find them near you, check their store locator, or use this request form.

So funny, Richie always had a crush on Josie back in the 90210 day!
Is it starting from the beginning on Soap Net? I kind of want to DVR them all!
how funny! yes – it looks like the pilot is scheduled to air soon so they’ll be recycling!
Oh my goodness. I totally would sneak upstairs to watch 90210 when I was in 4th grade. I learned A LOT of things that probably would have been best taught from my parents. Haha. Your melon and your room look lovely. Thanks for sharing, sweet friend!
Lynn you are a pretty little star..
I hope you great success on and off your blog
Thanks, Suzanne!
It’s funny that the Spirulina is so green and scary looking because it was my favorite flavor (least sweet)! Last night I mixed part of one into plain Chobani and it turned it a vomit-green. Lovely. hahaha
Yum, I mean, ew!
