Brad and Mayuka had their baby! Haven’t seen them since their shower

…came over to meet the little guy, and brought some Russian Gingerbread.

Traffic wasn’t horrible, but I was stuck behind this Schmuck.

You’d think I’d want some NY deli, but I had a serious craving for breakfast foods!

Cannot get over how incredible this was…loved all the textures and temperatures.

A handful of cereal followed…

…plus the final VitaCake (<—God, I’ve had these forever)

Usually snack on cocoa right before bed, but since we are feasting in the SGV bright n early, I wanted to make sure I was sufficiently full by 8pm, so I wouldn’t go pecking around the fridge at midnight. Miso did the trick.

Frozen figs- why have I never heard of this? And Russian gingerbread? Russian teacakes are my all-time fav. I must try these, and the figs- together…Mmmmm…..

love figs, and love them frozen. they do great in smoothies, make them real thick and cold :)

I’ve never tried figs before, but I’ve been seeing them around lately… what do they taste like?
