A toast to the happy couple…

…let’s break bread!

There was tons of it, along with a DIY spread which included tuna and crab salads from Sue’s Produce Market…

(I helped myself to some of each while setting up the table.)

Stuffed Grape Leaves from a can, DiBruno Brothers tabouli + wild rice/orzo salad…

…salami, prosciutto and turkey (also from DiBruno’s deli case)…

…and 2 giant antipasti salads, drizzled with balsamic glaze (can you see the heart?)

We ate and ate and talked and laughed and ate!

Stuffed full from my four plates, but I had to try some of Abe’s Potato Knish…

…nor could I resist dessert!

Our group of 13.5 moved over to Capogiro’s for gelato.

Sampled some Bourbon Butterscotch…

…and Fig Sorbetto (tasted a lot like my frozen version at home!!!)

Ultimately, decided on a scoop each of Thai Coconut Milk and Chocolate Caramel.

National Geographic called this the best place to have ice cream in the world. It’s really incredible, but my heart still belongs to Scoops.
Got some bites from my niece Zadie…

…and Aunt Gail, as well.

Wedding in less than 8 hours – here’s the forecast…

…GULP!!! Lots to do – wish us luck!

Oh, how I miss Capogiro! I love their asian pear sorbet and dark chocolate gelato. We used to live in Rittenhouse square, you’re making me all nostalgic for our time in Philly
