Breaking Bad Premiere Menu

July 7, 2012

in TV shows

You may remember how Abe and I became seriously addicted to Breaking Bad last year.  Well, the Season 5 Premiere is coming up, and this will be the first time we’ll watch “live.”

Food is usually the last thing I want while viewing Walt n crew, but here are some ideas in case me and my stomach decide to get in the spirit of things.

Drinks:

Marie’s Purple Passion Cocktail

Gail’s Siphon Coffee

Appetizer:

Skyler’s Salad

Jesse’s Funyuns

Fried Chicken from a Los Pollos Hermanos-esque chain

Main Course:

Tuco’s Burritos

Gus’ Paella Marinera

Dessert:

Blue rock candy – make Sugarhero’s version, or buy it ready-made

Anything else you can think of?

I can’t wait for it to start! Love the menu ideas. Last time we were at the candy store Dustin got some rock candy to play fake meth Breaking Bad, LOL. We’re goofy.

This is such an adorable idea!
I just started watching Breaking Bad and have a lot of catching up to do…but, it’s definitely addicting!

Love the menu…especially the blue rock candy, very appropriate. My husband and I literally JUST discovered this show on Netflix 3 days ago and we are through season 1 and halfway through season 2 (we’ve been total couch potatoes)…such a great show. Luckily they have the first 3 seasons on Netflix, looks like we’ll have to rent the 4th and start DVRing the 5th.

How about something with OJ…they always seem to be drinking it!

Turkey bacon! From the pilot!

This is so cool! And I love that you have blue rock candy for dessert–guess I was a little late to that train of thought. :)

It’s a running joke with my friends that Walt Jr is ALWAYS eating breakfast (and nothing else!) on the show, so you should definitely include waffles or toast in honor of poor Walt Jr, who never gets to eat anything else.

Gus Fring’s Tequila (preferably without the poison)

Old thread, just wanted to point out something:

These are all great choices, but seriously, breakfast is hands-down the most important food-related thing on the show. Boo for ignoring B-fast.

Lydia’s fancy tea with stevia. Hanks Cheetos NOT Fritos lol. And of course hospital food since many of the characters have spent time there bring on the jello and pudding cups!

Cereal! Walt Jr.’s food.
