Two Cakes, Zero Recipes

Back at the beach house! We’re hosting a brunch this afternoon so I hit Trader Joe’s yesterday…

….as I restocked the fridge and wondered what to make for dinner, Abe appeared with treats in hand. Remember the crumb cake from March?

They had to make it again for the cooking show pilot reshoots. Hopefully it’ll get picked up, and I can finally share the recipe with you.

It’s freaking good!

In the meantime, I have another giveaway for you – the folks over at The Hollywood Bowl have been so pleased with the Opening Night Contest (still running) that they’re offering two tickets to see Lonely Planet Live, either July 6th or 7th.  Here’s the description:

The ultimate portrait of the last great wilderness on Earth – the Polar Regions – comes to the Bowl’s big screen in the latest series co-produced by the BBC and Discovery Channel. This world premiere production will feature stunning images of the Arctic and Antarctic as you have never seen them before, with live orchestral accompaniment conducted by award-winning composer George Fenton.

And my favorite animal has always been pot-belly pigs. I have no idea why. I just think they’re adorable!

My favorite animals has been always dolfins, but now is my 16 months baby! 🙂 She is now a big specialist imitating the sounds of all kind of animals (lion, elephants, cows, horses, etc) and my house seems to be the sabana all day, but at the end, when she’s tired she says a big “mama!” and runs to me to give an incredible kiss and a hang! 🙂 Nice animal, don’t you think?
