Working for the Weekend

The LA Asian Pacific Film Festival was all about the business side of what I do – today’s focused on the creative process!

A few hours of character development work with my A.W.E. groupAndrea’s in the midst of a move so we had a carpet picnic…

Jully brought a bunch of stuff from Porto’s….

…and Elaine rounded out the bread-fast with French pastries from a Korean bakery:

I had 2 delicious helpings…

…one with a perfect chewy chocolate chip cookie, some cream-stuffed pillow, a cheese-crusted corner and Fried Potato Ball

…refilled with two empanadas – one with beef, one with cheese, and a couple more dough-y sweet bits.

Off to do some more work now with Goh…helping him raise money for his Kickstarter this afternoon…

that looks like a great carpet picnic!!! a friend’s grandma used to make us empanadas for lunch in high school. I wonder if I could figure out a veg version… these were stuffed with potatoes and delicious spices and pork, I think. <3
