Back to the Larder

Even though it’s within walking distance from us, and I really enjoy their food, we rarely visit The Larchmont Larder. Their prices are a little steep for the portion sizes, and it’s not really in the heart of Larchmont Boulevard, where I take my daily walks.

This morning, however, it was en route to the library, where I borrowed the next Book Club selection

…plus I had a Scoutmob deal for 1/2 off.

Usually I get one of their deli salads

[ This one sounded particularly good ]

…but we wound up ordering breakfast.

Their homemade granola is grrrreat!

Served with just a smidge of yogurt, plus fruit…

…and a piece of super moist Banana Chocolate bread.

Pour moi:

We nearly polished off that entire bottle of water too.

Angelenos – Giant Robot Magazine is giving away free tickets to the double feature of Surrogate Valentine and Daylight Savings at LAAPFF! Follow the instructions below if you wanna win.

By the way, Surrogate Valentine is on DVD now. Sadly, not Netflix (yet) but if you add it to your queue (along with all my other movies) maybe it will become available sooner.

Speaking of Netflix, it’s time to prune our list! We have over 300 titles on it, and each time a DVD arrives we wonder who ordered it?!?

Looks like a great little spot for lunch!

I’m jealous that I don’t live closer; I’d love to go to the film festival and see your movies!
