Hey guys! I’m in the midst of a switch over from wordpress.com to a self-hosted wordpress.org site (www.theactorsdiet.com) so apologies if this post ends up being wonky, or repeated several times.
Last night was actually more about my other blogging platform – Tumblr – where Thick Dumpling Skin lives. Abe and I were invited to a West Coast party they were hosting. I gobbled down a few snacks beforehand…
…then headed over to Palihouse.
We were early, so I checked out the rest of the Courtyard Brasserie space.
The event took place in the lobby bar…
…which quickly filled up:
I ate one of every passed hors d’oeuvres – beef short rib…
…veggie quesadilla…
…and a Chicken Skewer…
…plus, snacks galore!
There were nibbles everywhere…
…Rice Cracker/Wasabi Peanut mix, Swedish fish…
…chocolate-covered caramels (there were malt balls too) and nuts…
Filled an additional napkin, and also snagged some Olives at the bar.
Back home, balanced all that sugar out with a cup of miso, while I tried to figure out my new blog home…
…still trying to make sense of it! In the meantime, start pointing your browsers/bookmarks over to theactorsdiet.com (it may not be live on your browser yet so check again later) – sign up for the new email list, RSS feeds, and update any blogroll links!
