Back in San Fran, I was gifted these “Actress Brownies” by Ashley (who also drew the Nice Girls Crew Comic)

The recipe comes from “The Office’s” Jenna Fischer, and I thought it was a fitting pre-audition breakfast.
Nibbled on two while I did my hair…

(YUMMY)

…and some grapes as I finished my makeup.

Sometimes callbacks take 5 minutes, sometimes they take an hour. Yesterday’s took TWO – a first for me – and I’ve been doing this since I was 5-years-old.

Walked around the area to make the long drive/parking headaches/wait time all worth it. (Actually, it already was since I was getting paid for overtime!)

Stumbled upon Tacos Por Favor, a place I’ve been wanting to try since reading Midtown Lunch’s review.

Ordered the Spinach Burrito, which already comes veganized (no cheese!)

Black Beans, Rice, Guacamole, Green Salsa, and Pico de Gallo. Plus a pocket of fresh baby spinach.

A visit to the salsa bar…

…I want to go swimming in these. They were incredible.

Pretty late in the day so I only ate half, no chips…

…saved the rest for my honey:

By dinnertime I still wasn’t very hungry, so while Abe ate my leftovers, I munched on a monster of a melon…

…and Julius helped me memorize lines.

Hmmm…should I eat the “Actress Brownies” again and see what adventures await me today?

The brownies look awesome, but the real reason I’m commenting is that pico de gallo—Looks amazing–I could DRINK it!

I like reading about your day-to-day experiences with auditions and the like. And that burrito looks soooo good! The salsa looks so inviting I can almost inhale it all the way over here! Nice touch with the lollipop
