LOVE short flights like LAX —> SFO! We left this morning at a very reasonable hour…
…and I channeled Pam Grier at the airport:
LAX has the lamest food options, so I packed a few bars from the beach house:

…but I wound up eating the entire Lydia’s Organics, since he did not care for it.
Surprised and delighted to turn on the Boing Boing channel and see my buddy Jane Lui singing her heart out! (You can watch it online too.) Jane makes her big-sceen debut in “Daylight Savings,” which is premiering tonight at SXSW and tomorrow at SFIAAFF.
God, I love Virgin America and their TV’s. This is their newest plane, but not its virgin voyage. Circled around for 30 minutes waiting to land – which is half the flight time…
…and when we did, I was instantly jealous of SFO’s food options – everything from The Plant Cafe to Cat Cora Kitchen – LAX, take notes!
Reunited with Serena (my driver for the weekend!!!) who I worked on both “Surrogate Valentine” and “Yes We’re Open” with…she knows how camera happy I get…
…the elderly woman isn’t blocking her face – she waved at me 
Just checked into our hotel – early dinner plans before our 6:30pm “Nice Girls Crew” premiere at the Sundance Kabuki…
…so just small bites (and bathrobes) til then…
…if you’re coming to the screening don’t be shy – SAY HELLO!!! I promise not to get all “Jackie Brown” on ya.
