Waiting 9 to 5

I’m stuck at home all day, waiting for FedEx!!!

Toasted Manna Rye + Bonne Maman Cherry Preserves

A small breakfast means I’ll get hungrier faster, and have to eat lunch sooner.

Eating = something to do

Being trapped also forces me to get things cleaned – bathrooms, kitchen, floors, laundry – check!

(I washed a Pumpkin Spice Nip by accident – *SOB*)

Passed the time listening to Joy the Baker’s awesome new podcast, “We’re About to be Friends.” She has an interview with my ex-Wesleyan-roomie, Sara Kate (you can also read my Q&A with SKG here)

Uh…is it time to eat yet?

I chopped up a bunch of leftover veggies from game night – cherry tomatoes, sugar snap peas, and baby carrots

Also in the mix – romaine, red beans, and a roasted sweet potato that have been sitting in the freezer, patiently waiting to be tossed into something random

Paleta’s vegan Caesar Dressing

I think I just used up my final food card before dinner. We’re going to our last meal at Angeli Caffe before it closes (would love some suggestions on what to order from fellow Angelenos) so if I do get peckish, I’ll probably just sip on my hot cocoa or miso soup early.

Congrats on the award! Received the Surrogate Valentine DVD from Santa! And next time remember nobody cuts off a Jersey actor’s speech (ask Jack N. or Meryl S.). I’m sure you would have thanked your husband, Julius and your agent. And by the way I missed the name of the accounting firm that tallied the votes?
