Remember when I posted about the National Film Society Award Nominations? Guess who won???

You’ll see my “acceptance speech” next week. We filmed the video in South Pasadena this morning, and since I was in the area, I swung by one of my favorite bakeries, Great Harvest.

Bread-fast

Snagged the last Chocolate Chip Pumpkin muffin sample

Also bought a loaf of Dakota – their goodies really are the best!

Since I had some time to kill before the shoot, I walked around the adorable area

Got some work done afterwards too

Don’t think I’ve ever been to a library with more heavy-breathing men. Had to switch tables twice, it was so distracting!

Now I’m back home for a snack + walk with my own loud breather

Congratulations on the award! Funny how things like heavy breathing get to you when it’s so quiet. It gets very distracting!

Hi. I saw you at the library. And yes, that back section had loud breathing men. I hope I wasn’t one of them! Loud yawners too!
