This morning we stopped into the brand new Larchmont BabyCakes for breakfast. Started with a Coffee Crunch –
Abe isn’t even a donut man – but I guess he likes vegan, allergen-free ones, because he wolfed his portion down with gusto
This branch also offers fresh, daily waffles. Here is a “plain” – which arrived with some kind of (I’m assuming) naturally-sweetened/non-dairy butter on top…

I still wanted a little more so I bought some day-old “Toasties”
These had cranberries in them, but I found the recipe on Martha Stewart for a Cinnamon version
Still moist and delicious!
Cannot believe all this stuff is gluten/refined sugar/wheat/soy/casein/egg-free.
Expect to see A LOT more of me at Babycakes in 2012!
