I love Saturdays in December – all the Oscar-contenders are in theaters! Abe and I adored “The Artist.”
Obviously, I have a connection to B&W (and silent) movies – but there’s a particularly special place in my heart for Jack Russell actors!

Holiday parties are the best! I think I’ve had those star cookies…they look very familiar!
My Aunt sends me 3 boxes of candy cane Jo jos every year be cause Texas doesn’t have TJ’s yet! Are those like sweet/hot jalapeño peppers? Love those & Julius!

I LOVED The Artist. We saw it as a double feature Saturday night along with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. I’m not a night owl, and I totally slept through part of Tinker Tailor, but I really liked what I saw. $16 for a nap — bah!
