Where’s the Party?

Shooting a party scene for the indie film Daylight Savings.

My call time for the Surrogate Valentine sequel wasn’t until noon today so I had a very typical Sunday morning. Went to the Farmer’s Market, walked Julius…

…ate a leisurely breakfast…

Then I headed off to the party!

Just a pretend soiree – it was work, but still fun to be amongst old friends!

Duane, the producer of my last four films…

…David (who played the sushi waiter in “White on Rice”)…

…cocktail guinea pig…

…the talented Jane Lui (making her movie debut)…

…and of course, the star, Goh Nakamura!

We broke for lunch around 4pm…

Comfort food, made by a Thai Restaurant! Mac n Cheese, string beans…

…potatoes + a Grilled Chicken Salad with sesame dressing

Not bad at all…

…though it was a little difficult to eat with this guy hovering about

A few hours later I broke into a granola bar from Two Moms in the Raw

We worked a 10 hour day and were exhausted by the end of it!

A bowl of strawberries + cup of cocoa while I post this blog

Have a forced call tomorrow so I must wash off all the hair/makeup stuff, get my beauty rest, and do it all again, bright n early. G’night!

Joy, are those lavender socks you’re wearing with your favorite Vans? I mean, as if I didn’t have enough reasons to think you’re the coolest person, but lavender socks would put you over the top. (Lavender being my favorite color.) 😉

Hi, looks like a fun time!
Just wondering what breed of dog that little cute white guy is? I want one just like him lol!

he’s a jack russell! make sure you look a lot into the breed – they’re VERY active dogs and require a ton of exercise and attention!
