Wedding Line – DO NOT CROSS!!! No idea who the woman in the bikini is….

…didn’t wear bathing suits but it WAS a super casual affair

No less breathtaking – Elk Lake Resort is a gorgeous setting

Thankfully, Rachel’s wedding was nothing like the movie! The ceremony was perfect, officiated by my very own mother-in-law, Wendy.

While the paparazzi snapped away, the guests mingled, nibbled and sipped. I tried all the appetizers – polenta, two types of fried shrimp, and bacon-wrapped scallops

The entire buffet was gluten-free, except for the bread

Chicken Skewers in a coconut curry (with rice noodles and pineapple underneath)

Tri Tip Steak

Tate and Tate did a wonderful job with the catering

Glad to see the bride and groom actually remembered to eat!

The Tula Bakery cake was driven all the way from Portland

Each layer was gluten-free. I split all three with my cousin Noah – first, the chocolate/cherry…

…then the lemon…

…and finally the ??? They said vanilla-something, but I don’t think so…

…loved the lemon, so I ditched my last half of the mystery piece for another

Congrats to the newlyweds!

What a beautiful place to get married! I love that the food was gluten-free too. That would be perfect for me. (Well, now that I know I’m celiac)
