Last time I went to Booya’s it was to celebrate finding my car after it was stolen. Today it was just to rejoice in the fact that I can have frozen dessert for lunch three days in a row if I want to!


Started with my usual base of fruit – strawberries, pineapple, blackberries (blueberries and mango too, but they got buried)


Tried a sample of their Fresh Tart


It’s solid, but I can’t help myself around flavors like these!


Went with the above two, plus Cookies & Cream


Lotsa chocolate on top! Three of my favorite candy bars…

I’m very inspired by her, after seeing The Future!


I’m also moved by the story behind Booya’s – owner Mike Shab decided to open the yogurt shop 2 years ago next to his family’s awesome sneaker shop Sportie LA (where Abe and I often buy our kicks), which he calls his “Booya” moment.


Life is filled with these instances – for me, it was when I kicked my eating disorders to the curb, decided to start both my blogs, and embraced ALL ASPECTS of my life as an actress. I talk more about all these things in a recent interview I did for Taiwan 543.

Another Booya – Surrogate Valentine won the Grand Jury Prize for “Best of Fest” at the Salt Lake City Film Festival this weekend!!! There will be a free screening TONIGHT at 7:30pm at Broadway Center Cinemas, 111 E. 300 South.
