My twitter feed will help with last night’s tale…

The Two Boos came through for me:

I improvised their story, felt good about the audition, came down to my car and….

That was shocking. Confusing. As you may know, I’ve been in two accidents this past year that haven’t been my fault at all, so I’m always very careful. Even then, insurance can be a headache.
Upset, I headed to The Grove to try and cheer myself up. Wanted to buy a specific book on audio to listen to. But…

So instead, I drove singing “Lithium” at the top of my lungs. It relieved stress when I was 14, and it worked just as well last night!!!

But I did, anyways.

Fruute is a brand new pastry shop in West Hollywood, specializing in mini tarts. They held a tasting event for media last night.

Even though there were all kinds of interesting flavors like Wasabi, Matcha and Black Pepper, I went straight for the most sugar-y thing there:

This is the Snowball – brownie on chocolate cookie crust, with a mini marshmallow on top. (A.K.A. Sadness Eraser)
THEN I got to work sampling the other, funkier flavors. I tried everything except the Tiramisu (not a fan of the dessert in general) and the Three Berries (the most conventional)

Of course I ate them all whole!!! Well, except for one:

This was the Baileys Puff. Don’t dig the taste of alcohol.
Everything was yummy, but these two made me go “Wowza” -

and Mont Blanc

For my last treat, I went all out with the Araguani, complete with edible rose petal and gold leaf

Being around some blogger friends, including Fiona, Jason, and Katherine definitely cheered me up…

…but I have to say – beautifully, hand-crafted sugar is excellent medicine.

The evening ended the same way it did on Thursday

Now the Holiday weekend officially starts – let’s hope it keeps getting sweeter!
