It’s not vacation time for me yet, but I totally feel the vibe in the air! Just this morning I counted 3 people on twitter leaving for road trips.
Of course, any day that begins with this lovely lady is a total JOY

We had a breakfast date at The Larchmont Bungalow. I actually felt hungry enough for some eggs, so Abe and I split the Vegetarian Sensation

Cheese on the side

The Bungalow is $$$ but since there’s always enough for two it works out to be pretty reasonable.

If you’re wondering what Joy ate for breakfast – steel cut oatmeal with almond milk, nuts, dried fruit, mango, and blueberries. Chia seeds too?

Bring Your Wife To Work again! Lisa actually googled this day to see if it existed, which I thought was pretty funny.
Brought some stuff to share:

Paleta’s hummus n carrot sticks, a nectarine, and Chai Bumblebar (<— Abe loves these so I gave him more)

This was a clinger so I didn’t bother trying to cut around that pit

I needed another Snack Plate!

Along with Trader Joe’s Chips n Salsa was their Dark Chocolate Mini PB Cup

QUITE an almond-less joy.

Delicious as usual!
Oh YUM! What a tasty day!
I have to be in the mood for eggs, but when I’m in the mood, I’m REALLY in the mood. Those look great!
Is there a bring your husband day too? Haha.
I LOVE the bumble bee bars. They are so chewy and texturally, they are perfect. Too bad of the $$…
The dark chocolate PB cup looks amazing. I know Reece’s makes a version but I’ve been trying to avoid them. Next time I owe myself a treat, I know what I’m having!!
The Bungalow is $$$ but since there’s always enough for two it works out to be pretty reasonable.
See, this is what I like about you two- you eat like normal people.
LOVED Joy Osmanski in The Loop and on Grey’s and I just saw Fired Up on cable the other night (thought she looked familiar). Having friends in the industry is good- built-in support system and no one’s going to “get” you like another actor.
vacation vibe is most definitely in the air! one week til i leave for mine and i cannot wait!
looks like a very yummy day of eats!

Haha, I did! And discovered that you can pretty much declare any day BYWTWD. Instead, I have just decided to declare a long weekend.
I’ve heard TJs dark chocolate pb cups are divine, but I haven’t tried them yet. (Not going to lie, my sweet tooth is VERY sweet, and I am still working on developing a taste for dark chocolate. Maybe these will convince me.)
Your daily eats always make me so hungry!! I want eggs and oats and tortilla chips and peanut butter cups! All for breakfast
yum – I’d be willing to pay for breakfasts that look like that! so interesting that the oatmeal was made with almond milk. I’ll have to try that.
also heard good things about the TJ’s pb cups, and I’ll be needing to try those soon.
