Ahhh and Saha

Arabic Fusion Cuisine in San Francisco at Saha.

Ahhhh, massage!  Thank you Blaise Martin.

I found Yelp, and walked over to his studio in Nob Hill for a super healing 90 minute session

There was no fire going when I went, but there WAS a well-behaved pup on the couch!

Speaking of pooches…ahhh, San Francisco!

Met up with my “Yes We’re Open” co-star Parry Shen and filmmaker Tanuj Chopra for dinner at Saha.

Arabic Fusion Cuisine – with a bunch of vegetarian/vegan options.

I had 2 pieces of fennel bread dipped in za’atar olive oil…

…couple more pieces with the dish I ordered – Molokhia.

A very flavorful quinoa and spinach Egyptian soup.

Traded bites with Parry’s Sage Duck + Roasted Pear.

And Tanuj’s Spinach and Lamb with Yemeni Noodles, Spinach, and Garbanzo Beans.

He wound up treating the both of us, too.  (Ahhhh, Tanuj!!!)

It was such an awesome way to end our day off. Back to work today – looking forward to breakfast.  I rarely get to eat cereal on set – especially the kind that’s not filled with a ton of sugar and chemicals.

Attune Foods sent a whole bunch of their products for the “Yes We’re Open” team to enjoy.

I’ve sampled a lot of these before, but have never had their Brown Rice flavors.  I’ve a feeling a lot of people will be fighting over that box of Cocoa Crispy!

Thanks, Ahhhhtune!

owww so jealous of your massage. I need one so bad! Green soups are never “pretty”, but I bet that quinoa and spinach soup was amazing. Hooray for the cereal

What an interesting restaurant – did they just put the zaatar in olive oil? I have some at home and need some more ways to use it!

I didn’t know that Attune = Uncle Sam’s oatmeal, which I’ve had before.

The spinach/quinoa stew looks amazing and now I’ve found a recipe to try to make it. Thanks!
