After yesterday’s Farmers Market shoot we drove to a new location – thankfully, indoors with no people to distract!
The office we used had not just one, but two of my movie posters
(By the way – a little Surrogate Valentine update: we’re playing in Eugene tonight, then Seattle and NYC soon!!!)
Lunch was donated by Batter Up
They make all kinds of corn dogs – including vegetarian (mozzarella) and vegan (tofu) ones
I opted for Chicken Apple
Dipped in lotsa mustard
With berries
Not only were they delicious, but very fun to play with
Snacked on some more fruit for dessert
Then it was time to get back to work – literally! We filmed my character’s office scenes. It wasn’t 28 takes, but at least 9, from the crumpled bits of prop paper you see here
I was pretty beat when I returned to my hotel room. Some snacks before an early bedtime:
Today we start filming bright and early for not one, but TWO weddings!

Ooooh I would be all over one of the tofu corn dogs!! Have fun filming the weddings!!!
Chicken Apple Look delicious ~~
two weddings – how fun!
chicken apple corn dogs sound so awesome! i’d probably stick with the mozzarella one because I don’t eat meat, but chicken apple sound so interesting.
Holy crap vegan corn dogs?!?!?! Corn dogs were my faaaavorite food as a kid, and I haven’t had one since going vegan. I’m so jealous, I wish we had those in LA!
This process sounds so cool!
The dogs look awesome.
The corn dog varieties sound so interesting! I’ve never had a real corn dog, just a vegetarian version.
Seriously, I’ve never heard of a vegan corn dog. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve even ever eaten a regular corn dog.
Lynn, first time commenting and I love reading your posts. Is that the CAAM office that I spy? =) I just had to do a shoutout from here in Berkeley also! Hope you’re enjoying the nice weather!
