Day 1 Filming Yes We’re Open

Behind-the-scenes of Day 1 filming Yes We’re Open in San Francisco.

Monday is the opening day for production on my new movie “Yes We’re Open!” I sleep for about 4 hours I am so excited!

There are bagels, burritos, cereals, oatmeal, and lots of fruit for breakfast. I nibble on half a pumpernickel + veggie cream cheese with a clementine.

A couple hours later, a piece of scone that the “Yes We’re Open” writer HP Mendoza claims tastes like Fruit Loops.

He is right – there was something very florescent tasting about those blueberries….

For lunch I nibble on crudite with hummus, edamame, and a turkey/swiss cheese wrap with mayo…

…followed by some chips and salsa, plus berries.

We are so ahead of schedule that we wind up shooting some of the sex scenes (originally planned for today)!

Carlen gives me that “special glow.”  It basically involves blush and a spray bottle with water for “sweat.”

Parry Shen and I look cozy, but we have a lot of company!  Hello, cameras!

If anyone ever tells you that filming sex scenes is sexy, they are lying.  Not only are you surrounded by people, every move you make is choreographed.  Plus, doing it take after take gets really old.  There is zero spontaneity!

How fun to see the “bed’s eye view” of shooting a sex scene!

And I applaud all of your healthy choices from the crafts table.

I was like, where did I see that guy before…and then I realized he was in Better Luck Tomorrow! Looks like you’re having fun!

You are so beautiful! I love this because I always think about the whole film crew standing there during those “intimate sex scenes”!

    Good luck with filming.

Your makeup looked flawless! I so want the huge makeup caddy the makeup artist was using 🙂

Is it bad that I want to be an actress for the trays of food?!? 🙂

    Hi Lynn,

I’m not sure what happened but I submitted a comment and it didn’t get posted. I think your blogs are interesting but I was wondering about your opinion on blepharoplasty?

…um, what kind of movie is this?! 😉

Seriously though! And I used to read back “in the day” when there were two of you blogging from the blog (I think ? Christy? ) . May I ask if she still blogs here or what happened? Thanks.
