in dessert, press, soup/stew

Bravo, San Francisco Airport for having free wifi!

Boo for having poorly laid out food options! I spotted a Boudin Bakery, Harbor Village Kitchen, plus a sushi and a dim sum place – all pre-security. Once you cross over, it’s just the generic overpriced stuff.

$6 chicken noodle soup from Amoura Cafe. I still had my own apple from the beginning of this trip.

By the time we picked up our car and Julius, bathed (all of us got clean!) it was pretty late

I couldn’t deal with this…

…but I did unpack these babies from The Gaige House

With frozen mango + hot chocolate. One happy family again, just like on the mug!

Although SXSW and SFIAFF were very exciting and fun, there really is no place like home! I finally got more than 6 hours of sleep for the first time in 10 days. During my photo shoot with JJ Casas his assistant John (who snapped the pic of us below) asked if my life was always like this. As all of you who read this blog regularly know, the answer is a big fat no!!!

(check out JJ’s recap of the shoot here)

I’m looking forward to getting back to normal and resting – for a few days at least. I may have to force it upon myself – I twisted my ankle in the middle of the night :(

Ahh nothing like a good night’s sleep! SFO has free wifi now?- it’s about time! And yes I agree that SFO is very lacking in the food department quite surprisingly.

Yay, Julius likes his bed now.
Glad you guys got home safely. Definitely get your much needed rest, Lynn. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

I remember being in SFO about 5-10 years ago and being absolutely SHOCKED that they had a sushi place in the airport. (I guess this was before you could get sushi at every grocery store). There was a large group of Japanese teenagers with crazy hairstyles, obviously on some kind of school trip or tour, ordering breakfast.
