I had a Fresh Guide coupon for Vintage Enoteca – perfect for an impromptu date night!

Free lot in the back – though it was really easy to find street parking, too.

Super chic n cozy!

Mostly small plates…

…like Italian tapas!

We got the brussels sprouts – came with a sprinkling of cheese and hazelnuts

Since we ordered without lardon, it needed s + p

IMG_7686.JPG

Split two of the veggie bruschetta – white bean hummus and butternut squash with ricotta and cranberry foam (<—loved loved loved)

IMG_7696.JPG

Since I had the Blue Crab with mint and lemon all to myself…

IMG_7689.JPG

…I gave Abe 3 of the 5 Margherita Flatbread slices

Such a gem of a place!

IMG_7667.JPG

Even without the coupon, this menu is very reasonably priced. With Abe’s beer, the total came to about $32…

IMG_7675.JPG

…with tip + 50% off, it wound up being $12.50/person. Love all these internet restaurant deals! (Right now there’s 1/2 off for one of my favorite Italian places, Osteria Mamma.)

Dinner was on the early side so we ate dessert much later in the evening – the last of Ameena’s Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Dried fruit salad

Started watching a screener but both fell asleep in the middle

Someone wanna tell me how it ended?

Went to see Company Men yesterday….mainly because there was slim pickins……I would not recommend it unless, like you, I was home on the couch in my jammies and could fall asleep. The end…..Ben & Tommy Lee….and all the peeps from the placement agency who were fired start their own biz.

Looks like good eats! The banana bread looks so good. I have some here too…nothing better than homemade banana bread.
