Morning!
Been feeling nauseous the last few days – I’m hopeful this means I’m getting my period soon since I’ve felt the same way in the past on hormone meds (and I’m breaking out). NO, I’M NOT PREGNANT!!!
Eating on autopilot, despite the sickness and total lack of appetite.
An early dinner of leftovers:

Sweet Freedom’s “Magic Bar” – made of brown rice flour, vegan chocolate chips, coconut oil, maple syrup, shredded coconut, coconut sugar, vanilla extract and sea salt.

Since almost all their other baked goods have crumbled on me, I ate it frozen – that way I could also keep track of all the coconut flakes too!

Don’t know what it tastes like thawed, but I liked them this way – these Magic Bars (and their Cinnamon Sugar Donut) have been my favorite of the Sweet Freedom stash. Make sure to check them out if you’re in Philly!

Nigella has new shows!

I have this woman to thank for my love of food. When I first saw “Nigella Bites” and “Forever Summer” years ago I watched the same episodes over and over again. Her Lemon Linguine was the first dish I ever cooked for friends.
I’ve decided to name my GPS “Nigella,” by the way
Bedtime snacks:

Was not feeling my usual cocoa last night. Instead, I found myself with a strong salty craving.

Plus a splash of Ume Plum Vinegar for extra flavor and “medicine” – it’s supposed to be great for digestion, nausea, and hangovers.

Feeling better already today – good thing because I have some really fun plans for brunch soon. Have a wonderful Thursday!

Glad to hear your starting to feel better. Being a nauseous food blogger isn’t very fun.
Feel better lady! I was sick last week and it is not fun, especially when it comes to eating!
I’ve been feeling nauseous too lately, and God, I hope I’m not pregnant. LoL
I’ve been feeling a little nauseous lately too…must be something in the air
I loooooove Nigella!
Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better today.
Sometimes I like sweet things better frozen too!
Haha, I’ve been coming down with a cold too, but as a true foodie, neither of us lost our apetite.
You should always eat, as a recovery from sickness.

Whoa, this is crazy but I was nauseated this morning as well!
Hope you feel better soon.
(As bad as it is for you, when I am nauseated I have to drink coca-cola to settle my stomach)
I have been getting nauseous too when I have a huge hormone jump. It’s weird and I hate it. Glad you are feeling better!
I love Nigella, too! AND, we had a GPS named Nigella (and then hubby drowned her by accident with a leaking water bottle during our summer vacation trip…).
Hope you’ll feel better soon!
seriously, your GPS is already named “nigella?!” GET OUT OF TOWN!!!
do you know i LOVE her christmas shows. they are just so homey and comforting. i think it’s the way she decorates her home and how warm the house seems. i would give anything to have her pantry
