Lynn – Finding Neverland

Oh what craziness yesterday…we lost two shining stars.  My Uncle Robert, who worked with Farrah Fawcett, wrote a great piece about her in yesterday’s Huffington Post.

Michael Jackson was the first poster I had on my wall; I used to kiss it repeatedly.  Last night we were supposed to go to a documentary premiere in Westwood, but decided against it because that’s where he passed away and didn’t know what the traffic situation would be.

Rest in peace….

I love my new Mac.

But for some reason, the only way I can figure out how to upload more than 4 pix quickly to the blog is through picasa/gmail, and they make them so darn tiny!  I can’t figure out how to make them larger.

Do you have a Mac and a blogger account and have a blogging tool you like?

I did some yoga this morning.  I usually like to take a class, but I’m really outa yoga shape so I taped Inhale on Oxygen instead:

The music and commercials can be distracting, and the host’s humor I find to be a bit annoying, but it’s free and it does the trick for a quick workout at home.  I mean, I was sweating…

For breakfast I put cottage cheese in my oatmeal, inspired by Kath.

This was: 1/3 cup oats with water, 1/2 banana, 1 fresh organic apricot, and 2 TB fat-free cottage cheese stirred in after cooking.

Plus country peach tea….

I got my copy of “X’s and O’s” in the mail, a movie I did years ago which is just now being released on DVD.

That’s me in the tiny cell phone in the bottom right hand corner!  I don’t have a huge part in this film, but it was fun to make and is a cute little indie.

Speaking of indie movies I did a while ago, if you’re in the Portland area there’s a special screening of a movie I star in called “White on Rice” tonight at the Hollywood Theatre.  Not sure if it’s sold out yet.

Breakfast didn’t really hold me over.  Maybe it was my lack of egg whites and flax, but I was hungry an hour earlier than usual.  I made a Starving Salad with romaine, mixed greens, bell peppers, sweet potato and almonds.

Plus a can of wild salmon mixed with curry powder, nonfat plain yogurt, mustard, garlic salt, pepper, and raisins.

I put about half of the salmon mixture on top of the salad, and sprayed it with Braggs Liquid Aminos.

I watched Dave Lieberman on the Food Network.  What happened to him, anyways?

And saw a commercial for the topsy turvy tomato plant.  I am tempted.  I love tomatoes, but I have a black thumb.  This might be perfect for someone like me.  But infomercials are supposed to make the think that way, right?

Does anyone have this product?

After lunch I had a calcium chew and a tootsie pop.  I didn’t take my usual fish oil supplement b/c I figured the salmon was covering the Omega-3’s.

We launched a twitter feed – we’ll be following other actors and retweeting any of their food-related posts.  Should be interesting if you wanna follow us!

And the big news of the day – from 5 – 9pm today, stop by Pinkberry for a free small dish of their newest flavors, passionfruit and coconut!
